Oracle Biography |

This melodic power metal band hails from Florida. Instrumentally, their sound reminds of thrashy power metal from the late 80s, but a great vocalist and reasonable progression modernizes the sound.
As Darkness Reigns
The vocalist is the standout on this disc. The music isn't bad, but it's got a retro power metal sound with a bit of a thrashy edge. The arrangements are pretty good. There are some time changes present and the complexity level is adequate. The music is at its best when the guitarist launches into a neo-classical assualt which he does fairly often. Ultimately, though, mediocre production holds this back.
